The BDASA operates a Professional Development and Accreditation program to encourage Members to continually expand their knowledge and develop new skills. Regular trade and industry seminars assist members to stay up to date with the constant and rapid changes in technology, materials and regulations in the building industry.
The accreditation program is run on a voluntary basis with participating Members accruing points for attendance or involvement in approved seminars and courses including events offered by the BDASA and external sources. Accreditation is awarded annually based on achieving the required minimum number of points during the course of the year. Members seeking to advance Membership to Fellow or Life status are required to successfully complete and continue the accreditation program.
The National Building Design Conference is one of the highlights of the National Association of Building Designers year and provides a valuable opportunity to network with Building Designers nationwide.
